Idaho works to prevent spread of invasive mussels

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture has a new proactive boat-inspection program on major highways along the state's borders to prevent quagga and zebra mussels from "hitchhiking" into Idaho's waters. The idea is to Clean, Dry and Drain boats from waters infested with the non-native mussels to prevent spreading them to other states and pristine watersheds.
